Programme overview
Fouadi’s social-protection approach combines targeted cash assistance with vulnerability assessment, referrals and follow-up, helping families address urgent needs while connecting children to complementary services.
Fouadi’s experience has developed through stand-alone and integrated multi-sector projects, combining local access, field implementation, infrastructure where required, community engagement, referrals and capacity building.

Basic Needs — Aleppo
- 1,103 families / about 3,309 children; four $90 payments plus winter support; 1,928 referrals.
- Additional clothing, surgical referrals and school bags coordinated with other organizations.
Malnutrition Reduction
- Aleppo: 2,143 families / 6,429 children, four $150 payments and 2,252 referrals.
- Idlib: 2,627 families / 7,881 children, four $150 payments and 2,115 referrals.
Storm Response
- 1,903 families across 21 camps plus 495 families across four Dana camps; one $220 payment per family combining emergency, winter and hygiene support.
Sheikh Maqsoud Response
- 1,600 families / about 4,800 children; one $170 emergency/hygiene payment with child-vulnerability targeting.
Basic Needs Phase 2
- Initial phase targets 2,000 eligible families in Al-Hajib villages with $300 emergency transfers, referrals and post-distribution monitoring.
