Livelihoods & Micro-Finance
Fouadi’s livelihoods work began with rural savings and lending and expanded into household production, disability-inclusive enterprise support, vocational training, agricultural field schools and community action planning.
Programme overview
Fouadi’s livelihoods programming has grown from community savings and microfinance into broader economic-recovery initiatives supporting household income, vocational skills, agriculture and small-enterprise development.
Fouadi’s experience has developed through stand-alone and integrated multi-sector projects, combining local access, field implementation, infrastructure where required, community engagement, referrals and capacity building.

Poultry Livelihoods
- Phase 1 supported 571 families; phase 2 supported 1,250 families with laying hens, feed and equipment plus food assistance.
Disability-Inclusive Livelihoods
- 54 people with severe spinal-cord injuries received therapeutic cash and livelihood-enterprise support. Budget $148,144.
Vocational Training
- 40 carpentry/blacksmithing trainees; occupational safety, first aid, costing, pricing, branding, negotiation and business skills.
- 425 school desks produced as practical graduation projects; 40 professional toolkits distributed. Budget $150,000.
Farmer Field Schools & CAP
- 535 beneficiaries; 16 field schools across cattle, olive and sheep activities.
- Five rainwater-harvesting demonstration fields with 500 stone-reinforced semicircular barriers; training for 160 representatives from 20 villages.
