Education & Adolescent Development
Fouadi supports safe and inclusive learning through school rehabilitation, community learning centres, self-learning, remedial education, early-childhood development, teacher training and adolescent skills.
Programme overview
Fouadi’s education work combines the rehabilitation of learning environments with remedial education, teacher support and adolescent development, helping children and young people return to learning and strengthen their prospects.
Fouadi’s experience has developed through stand-alone and integrated multi-sector projects, combining local access, field implementation, infrastructure where required, community engagement, referrals and capacity building.

Creative Youth
- 6,000 adolescents/youth aged 10–24; two training centres plus mobile outreach.
- Life skills, vocational/technical training, youth-led initiatives and sport for development.
School Rehabilitation
- Successive phases rehabilitated damaged schools across eastern and southern rural Aleppo.
- Works included classrooms, electricity, WASH, roofs, courtyards, doors/windows and boundary walls.
Teach Up
- 20,362 children plus 537 teachers/administrators over 24 months.
- Supportive/remedial learning, ECD, teacher capacity building, furniture; later phase added life skills, employability and youth initiatives through 6 centres and about 85 learning points.
Education First
- Five schools; 56 classrooms, 36 toilets plus 5 accessible toilets, solar systems, 700 desks and 68 heaters.
- Remedial education for 500 children, teacher training and back-to-school outreach to about 3,000 children. Budget $697,341.
